August PS Plus Game Catalog Update: Mortal Kombat 1, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Sword of the Sea Added

Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for August, bringing a mix of blockbuster action, narrative adventures, and unique indie experiences. Leading the pack this month is Mortal Kombat 1, the 2023 fighting game that reboots the iconic franchise with a fresh timeline following the events of Mortal Kombat 11.

Joining alongside are Marvel's Spider-Man, the acclaimed superhero action-adventure from Insomniac Games, and Sword of the Sea, a new exploration title launching day one into the service. All games will be available from August 19 for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium subscribers.

Sony has also announced two classic Resident Evil titles for Premium/Deluxe members, plus a game trial for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
